Wireless router?

my wireless router is connected to everything.

but the interent light is amber?

how do i get it green?

it says that amber

Amber :The Ethernet cable is connected but the router has not gotten an Internet address.

how do i give it an address?|||Your internet has been turned off by the service provider. Your computer can connect to the router but not the internet.|||this IP address is automatically assigned by the ISP's DHCP server if you haven't opted for Static IP Address.

Contact the ISP for that as there is a fault on their end.|||Make sure that the cable box or internet modem that you connected the router to is on and functioning properly. Usually these boxes have a light on them that states "internet" or "connectivity." Make sure that light is on. If not, then replace the cable, and if that doesn't work, call the company. It could be a bad modem.|||As a rule, all wireless routers are stupid. Now to fix you little problem you will need to check a few things, 1. all of the ethernet cables to ensure they are not faulty. 2. the position of the wiresell router, if it is neer any large metal objects (frigerator, tv, giant robot) it won't work properly. and finally you will want to reset you router. this can be done be disconecting the power cable to the router for AT LEAST 10 seconds and then pluging it back in. It may also help if you unplug your motum if you have cable/dsl/whatever.|||when the internet explorer pages pops up try typing in a web adress like yahoo.com or something. and u wanna make sure the internet service is activated. if all else fails, call the company you have the service with.
