Wireless Router?

I have heard about something called Wireless Router.Is it the same as wireless internet connection?|||You need a wireless router to have a wireless internet connection.|||well to start off you would need a wireless router...there are many kinds linksys and belkin and so on den which after you can excess the internet through wireless connection which means you can have more computers online|||a wireless router 'routes' the internet connection to your computer. you need a router in order to have a wireless internet connection. If your school has wireless internet connectivity then there is a router somewhere but unless you are talking about laptops, the computers are most likely connected to the internet through a network.|||No wireless internet is not the samething as a Wireless Router. Wireless internet is connecting to the internet without a ethernet cable. A wireless router is basically a small, low-powered computer dedicated to nothing but providing Internet access to your wireless network.
