What type of wireless router do i need to get my Macbook online?

Hi, I just purchased a Macbook, I've read that almost any wireless router would get me online. I own a PC desktop though, but would ANY wireless router get my Macbook online? I know that there are G series routers %26amp; N series routers, but what series should i get to get my Macbook online? Does it even matter?|||Your existing router is fine. OS X is designed to work with ALL wireless standards and protocols

Your networking options are in System prefs%26gt;network%26gt;airmac%26gt;configure although you should just be able to turn it on and open Safari type the router IP into the URL address bar and enter the admin passwords.

This book might be handy too

Apple airport here - works with Mac and PC

http://www.apple.com/airportextreme/|||Apple sells routers called AirPorts, but any router will work. If I was in your position, I'd buy a Netgear WGR614. They work very well, they're not expensive, and they take three seconds to set up. I know this from experience with them. If you choose to get a WGR614, don't use the manual to set it up. Al you have to do is connect your Internet source to port 4 and it should get you online immediately.
