I have a wireless network (Netgear Router) but my printer is not wireless. Could I use a spare similar router to connect to the printer wirelessly?|||No, although you can setup a workgroup network with all your houses computers and then enable printer sharing so that all computer will send to the computer that has the printer to be printed.|||I have seen adapters for printers to make them wireless. I forget if it was Linksys or Netgear who made them. They were under $100. They had a wireless part and then plugged into the printer. These can be very convenient for sharing one good quality printer with many users.
You would have to make sure you had the right interface from adapter to printer.
Best Buy had these several years ago. They might not be available any more. Something at the newegg reference below might work for you at a price you are willing to pay.
Now, you can't use a spare router for this, I don't think. It would not interface to the printer...|||They have to be from the same brand and they may connect together.|||The answer is yes only if the printer has a ethernet jack. Otherwise no.
